A. Order Steps
  1. Initial Quote Request
The builder submits architectural plans, elevations, and window schedules to Steelsen.
Additional project details may be requested to ensure an accurate quote.

  2. Steelsen Quote Issued
A written quote will be provided, including product pricing, estimated lead times, and relevant terms.
Quotes are valid for a limited period as stated on the document.

  3. Approval & Deposit
The builder reviews and signs the quote and preliminary drawings.
A deposit, as specified in the quote, must be received before shop drawings are released.

  4. Final Shop Drawings
Steelsen will issue detailed shop drawings for review and approval.
Production will not begin until all drawings are signed and approved by the builder.

  5. Production & Lead Time
Lead time begins once signed shop drawings and deposit are received.
Estimated production timelines are provided but may vary due to material availability, supplier lead times, and unforeseen factors.

  6. Delivery Coordination
Once production is complete, Steelsen will coordinate delivery with the builder.
Site readiness must be confirmed, including accessibility, unloading space, and a designated responsible party.

  7. Final Invoice & Payment
The final invoice will be issued once the order is ready for delivery.
Payment in full is required prior to delivery, unless credit terms have been pre-approved in writing.

B. Change Orders
  • Any change order must be submitted in writing and approved by Steelsen.

  • Changes may affect pricing, production timelines, and delivery dates.

  • No verbal changes or modifications will be accepted once production has begun.

  • Change orders are subject to additional costs, which will be communicated in writing prior to approval.

C. Jobsite Delivery Requirements

To ensure a successful delivery, the following conditions must be met:

  • Clear Access: The jobsite must allow safe access for delivery vehicles, including sufficient clearance for trucks and equipment.

  • Unloading Area: A designated unloading area must be prepared in advance.

  • Responsible Party: A builder’s representative must be onsite to receive, inspect, and sign for the delivery.

  • Re-Delivery Policy: If the site is not ready or the delivery cannot be completed due to lack of access or responsible personnel, re-delivery charges may apply.
